The Lindley Bay Association

Kudos to the founders of the Lindley Bay Association who in 1964, foresaw the need to preserve its land and unite its ever-expanding community. As the Lindley Bay Association enters its seventh decade, its principles, inspired by forebears of the 1880s, are still paramount. The By-Laws the Association established upon its founding, still hold firmly today. Lindley Bay continues to unite its members, some now in their sixth generation, both through community-sport activities on its courts, as well as through its web of communication. The Membership Directory, updated annually, keeps track of its ever-increasing number of members. The LBA Secretary informs the membership about LBA events and news through email, and the WhatsApp LBA Chat provides its members with the opportunity to post their own information regarding the River , directly and in real time.

For information on how to become a member of The Lindley Bay Association, please refer to the LBA By-Laws, Section 1.11: Admission of New Members, (see below) or contact LBA Board Member Edith White, or Kay Barned-Smith for further details.

Section 1.11. Admission of New Members. Candidates for admission as members may be proposed and voted on at any meeting of the membership, provided that each candidate be personally known and recommended by at least two members of the corporation present at the meeting or by proxy.
